Who We Are
H Foundation for the Arts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting contemporary art practices rooted in Asian and diasporic cultures. Through exhibitions, public programs, and creative collaborations, the Foundation fosters cultural dialogue and engages with the complexities of identity, tradition, and transformation in today’s world.

Founded in 2025 as a sister organization to Cultural Foundations of Zhendai He (USA), DBA “H Foundation”, we carry forward a legacy of cultural scholarship. The original foundation was created in 2016 by Tina He in honor of her great-grandfather, Zhendai He (1867–1952), a respected Chinese poet and educator whose spirit continues to guide our mission. Hereafter referred to as H Foundation.
Through our curated exhibitions, collaborative partnerships, and engaging public programs, we foster artistic dialogue that connects generations, communities, and ideas. We invite collaborators and supporters to join us in amplifying new creative voices and shaping a more connected cultural future.
Institutional Support: Be An Culture

Be An Culture was established as a cultural enterprise to strengthen and sustain the work of both nonprofit foundations — H Foundation for the Arts and H Foundation. Serving as a collaborative platform, Be A Culture provides operational support, enabling the foundations to deliver public programs, cultural initiatives, and partnerships with greater flexibility and professionalism.
