About The Event

Inspired by the Chinese saying that the moon shines fullest on the sixteenth, this intimate Mid-Autumn program brings together contemporary art, seasonal flavors, and tea.
The experience begins with a guided tour of Shen Yongji: What Materials Know. Through close looking, guests will explore how the artist brings the traditional technique of gold-and-silver inlay into dialogue with acrylic, crystal resin, carbon fiber, vivid color, transparency, and light.
Following the tour, guests will enjoy three mooncake flavors paired with a Korean tea tasting. The tasting will feature two kombucha selections chosen from Peach & Cherry Blossom, Grapefruit & Hibiscus, Orange & Marigold, and Lemon & Chrysanthemum, together with three selections from the Butterfly Flower Tea collection, made with organically grown flowers from Korea.
Please contact us in advance regarding food allergies or dietary restrictions. Mooncakes may contain wheat, eggs, dairy, sesame, or nuts.
